Letter 1of 30

Dear students of the Summer SAT Workshop at JAC,

Before you begin this workshop, I would like to share with you some thoughts about learning, which is one of the most precious of human joy. When I say joy I do not mean it paradoxically or sarcastically, but simply, plainly, and honestly. I encourage you to seek that unspeakable pleasure which comes only when you expand your knowledge on or gain a clearer understanding of something, especially when that something can be applied to improve your academic performance. You will not understand what I am talking about if you never develop any genuine understanding about any topic. Only those who truly understand the concepts they pursue will they know what I am referring to. I hope you are among one of those lucky ones who have tasted the sweet fountain of knowledge and learning.

Best regards,

Dr. Jeng
